Guide for GP's

GBS is a clinical syndrome of progressive muscle weakness and respiratory paralysis associated with absent reflexes, which develops over a period of three to four weeks. CIDP is the chronic counterpart of GBS.

The GBS Association of NSW is a registered charity that provides information and support to those affected by the Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) and related conditions.

There is a new meeting starting time of 10am (30 minutes earlier) where the Committee will discuss administration of the Association until 11am.  Then from 11am to noon there will be time for either a guest speaker or open forum for visitors and members to share their GBS/CIDP recovery experiences.  Business will resume at noon and aim to finish by 12.30pm.  All are welcome to attend the meeting from 10am or can just come along for the forum from 11am.  Also, following the meeting some attendees take advantage of the Clubs café for a meal and social gathering.
